7位学员同时获得 2016年6月的 Student of the Month

Congratulations to Angel Pang, William No, Isabella Xu, Helen Xu, Christina Xue, Elaine Liu and Morris Mo. Ivy Education’s Student of the Month!

Teacher Sandra:

“I would like to nominate Isabella Xu. Over the nearly two years I have taught Isabella, her work has grown by leaps and bounds.  She is a diligent student who takes careful and detailed notes in class and raises stimulating questions about the historical events and persons we study.  She is a natural and highly motivated researcher, and her searches persist until she has found the answers she needs. This has had a dramatic effect on her writing, which has moved over time from repeating lesson material to the development of highly independent views on the subject in question together with unfailingly sound and relevant supporting information. Finally, as her vocabulary grows, her essays are becoming increasingly nuanced in dealing with very complex issues in the course.”

Teacher Nancy:

“I would like to nominate Christina Xue for student of the month.  From the first day of class, Christina has shown great determination.  She has always taken the class without the help of a parent, and she is very good at telling me when she doesn't understand.  She works hard on her  pronunciation and reading skills.  Now Christina can go beyond answering with a simple yes or no.  She can tell short stories and explain what she is reading.  Christina  brings that dedication and positive attitude to every class!”

“I would also like to nominate Helen Xu for student of the month.  Helen is an enthusiastic student who smiles often and likes to chat.  Because she talks freely, we have many opportunities to learn new words and phrases.  She has good scientific thinking and wants to learn everything.  Each week she does her best in class!”

Teacher Holly:

“I nominate William No.  William has worked very hard this summer on the A+ curriculum, including reading and analyzing his second Charles Dickens' novel.  He is a bright young man that has fully embraced the  responsibilities inherent with being a successful student. William consistently demonstrates hard work and thoughtful effort in all of his academic endeavors. Finally, he participates in content discussions and provides multifaceted answers to complex questions. It is a pleasure having William as a student.”

“I would like to nominate Angel Pang. Angel has worked very hard this summer on the A+ curriculum  and continues to perfect her writing skills with the completion of a short essay every week.  She has an incredible work ethic and consistently approaches her academic responsibilities with dedication and a positive attitude.   It is a pleasure to have Angel as student.”

Teacher Robin:

“I would like to nominate Morris mo. his long time dedication to my class has paid off. his spelling and reading is outstanding. he is always in class and ready to work. I enjoy teaching Morris and hope to continue teaching him in the future.”

Teacher Peggy:

“I would like to nominate Elaine Liu what an amazing student who works so hard and accomplishes so much I love having our lessons and I actually miss her when she does not have one at the end of each lesson she reads a story to me in English and develops all her vocabulary so well she is a great storyteller.”
