Sometimes my connection or student ' internet connection is slow – what are some options?
There are a few things that you can try. Some teachers turn off the video for the student – so the student can see the teacher, but the teacher cannot see the student. You can also try running the A+ software from the browser or the downloaded (client) on your desktop. See the Teacher Resources page for more information.
You can try the following steps if you experience the bad connection with student during the class:
- Relaunch ZOOM conference, ask student to re-join
- if the problem still there, switch to Skype, by using Skype you still can share the screen but you can't turn on the video, otherwise Skype will tell you to buy a premier license
- If the audio is still bad, using Local03 service to dial student's local home phone from your landline. Please contact us for the details if you want to turn on this service for you
- If problem still exists, call admin and ask for reschedule the class for another time
